Points are awarded when a dog receives Best of Breed, Runner-Up Best of Breed or Challenge Dog at an ANKC approved Championship show.
Points are calculated based on your Challenge Certificate points (NOTE - Baby Puppies or Best In Group points NOT counted) ie: if the BOB certificate states 20pts, you submit a claim for 20 points. Runner-Up Best of breed is less 1 point of the Best of Breeds total. Only the highest points from each show will be counted towards your dog’s total. POINTS WILL BE DOUBLED FOR ROYAL SHOWS AND SPECIALTIES.

Maximum 3 dogs per Prefix. Points are awarded for Best of Breed, Challenge, Best in Group, Runner-Up Best in Group, Class in Group, Best in Show, Runner-Up Best in Show & Class in Show.  POINTS WILL BE DOUBLED FOR ROYAL SHOWS AND SPECIALTIES.
Points are received as below:
Best of Breed: 2pts                   
Best in Group / Runner – Up Best in Group: 5pt                Class in Group: 3pts
Best in Show / Runner-Up Best in Show: 10pts                Class in Show: 7pts

 


RULES:
Please read these rules carefully before submitting an application.

  • Dogs’ owner must have been a (paid) member in good standing of the Japanese Spitz Club of Qld.
  • The JSC Qld Committee will do there best to verify where possible the information given on the Awards Application. The Committee is not required to search for additional information. The Committee will independently calculate the points for each award. This is an honesty system; any member found submitting misleading information will have ALL dogs removed from the competition.
  • Please fill out a SEPARATE APPLICATION for each award for which you are applying for.

 


AWARDS:

Certificates are awarded at the end of the year to the Top 3 in each category, except for “Breeders Team”
where the prize is awarded by State. A First Place Trophy will also be awarded to the winner in each category.

Winners will also be featured in the Japanese Spitz Club of Qld Studbook and Newsletter.
An archive of past winners will be showcased on this website.
